Cleanse with Alcohol Prep Pad
Remove all natural skin oils, skincare, or makeup and let dry for 15s.
Natural sebum and moisturizers are the #1 reason any skin adhesive loses grip early. Tear open one of the 2x sterile isopropyl alcohol prep pads included in your pouch, wipe your earlobe, cartilage, or nose placement thoroughly, and allow the skin to air-dry completely for 15 seconds before applying.
Peel & Position on Stud Base
Use tweezers or your fingertip to place a medical dot onto the flat stud back.
Each strip holds 10 pre-cut 3M 1522 medical-grade double-sided adhesive dots. Using clean tweezers or your dry fingertip, lift one dot off the clear carrier strip and press the sticky side directly onto the smooth 4mm flat back of your surgical steel stud. Avoid touching the adhesive center repeatedly so it stays at 100% tack strength.
Press & Hold Firmly
Apply firm pressure on your earlobe, cartilage, or nose for 15 to 20 seconds.
Peel off the top protective tab to expose the skin-facing adhesive. Look in the mirror, position the stud on your earlobe, upper ear cartilage, or nose crease, and press down with firm, even pressure for a full 15 to 20 seconds. Medical-grade acrylate adhesive is pressure- and warmth-sensitive: those 15 to 20 seconds lock in a flush, realistic bond that lasts up to 16 hours.

When you are ready to remove your stud, hold the crystal cluster gently and peel it away slowly from one edge. The medical dot releases cleanly with zero pinching, zero redness, and zero sticky residue. Peel the used dot off the back of the stud, wipe the surgical steel base with warm soapy water or an alcohol wipe, and store your studs safely in your black matte pouch.
